Get ready to fill up your e-reader for the holiday break! Here are six LGBTQ+ fantasy books to check out. Three are free for everyone and three are free for Kindle Unlimited (KU) members only (but non-KU members can still buy them).
Side note: I tried to use my typical criteria of at least 4.3 stars over 50+ reviews, but I had to adjust the criteria in some cases. I did check out the reviews and the descriptions and every single one of these books sounded interesting. Check them out for yourself!

Annnd it's the last month of the year! Time to hit all my goals for 2018 in the space of three short weeks...yeah, okay, that isn't going to happen. But let's see what I can do.
As usual, I'll update the progress on November's goals, then set new goals for December.

In honor of the coming winter, I'm reposting a little story today, told from the spider's perspective on one blustery midwinter afternoon. Original version here.
Now on to part 2 of our little story: the spider's perspective of our encounter. FYI: I took a few liberties here and there (as writers are wont to do), so it might not be 100% what happened. Also, it's told by a spider, so you know there's that.
In case you missed it, here's my side of the story.
I present "Dreaming of Summer: A Spider's Story."

During the launch of A Brush with Betrayal (The Clan-Vampire Clash: Book Two), I noticed something interesting. Amazon added a brand-new category called "Vampire Suspense" (Amazon.com at least added it; Amazon.co.uk has had it for a while). So I thought to myself, "Hmm, interesting, I'll have to check this out later."
Well, later has arrived! Check out these four free books (plus a bonus Kindle Unlimited book), all of the vampire suspense persuasion. As usual, they had a minimum of a 4.3 average star rating and the premise sounded interesting and a bit different from the other books. Check them out for yourself!

All right, it's a new month and the launch craziness is over. (Well, mostly. I still have a whole lot of analysis to do, regarding what went well and what went better. But that's a task for another day—or more likely, several days.)
As usual, I'll update the progress on October's goals, then set new goals for November.
And heeeere we go!
