January 2017 Goals

First, check out my 2017 goals to see where I'm going and my December goals to see where I've been.

So, first we'll start with the logical: an update on December's goals.

1. Scheduled an editor for The Impossible Creation. I even went through her sample edit to accept/reject changes and address her comments! I should get the first round of revisions back in a couple weeks. :-)
2. Completed my line-by-line self-editing process for Chapters 1 and 2 of An Uncertain Death. This item will continue for quite awhile as this is where my writing take a huge leap forward in terms of quality (and where I spend the majority of my time creating a novel).
3. Still not *quite* ready to launch the sneak peek offer, due to some technical glitches. Hoping to have it ready to go ASAP, as all the content is prepared.

Now, instead of continuing on to January's goals as usual, I'm going list out my ninety-day goals (so January through March), then translate those into January's goals.

Goals for January 2017 through March 2017:

1. Prepare The Impossible Creation for final proofreading.
2. Complete my line-by-line self-editing process for Part 1 of An Uncertain Death. (Stretch goal: Complete through Part 2.)
3. Select and prepare bonus items to support launch of The Impossible Creation.
4. Set-up and grow The Troupe (my Readers Group email list) to at least 200 people.

January's goals:

1. Begin addressing professional editor's concerns for The Impossible Creation. (Only applicable to second half of the month.)
2. Complete line-by-line edits for Chapters 3 through 6 of An Uncertain Death.
3. Launch the sneak peek offer for The Impossible Creation to family and friends.
