The Impossible Creation Launch Results: Day One

Let it be known: I'm a data nerd. I love it, I obsess over it, I collect way more than I should (and spend way more time collecting it than I should). Nothing can stop me!

And so, just over one day into the launch of The Impossible Creation and The Unleashed Creation, I'm going to share some results from Amazon.

First, a picture (because everyone likes pictures!):

So there we go! The Unleashed Creation reached #1 in Free YA Fantasy Thrillers and #2 in Free YA Wizard & Witch Fantasy (and #2 in Free YA Contemporary Fantasy, but that's not shown). The Impossible Creation was the #3 Hot New Release in YA Contemporary Fantasy and YA Fantasy Thrillers.

As far as overall sales ranking goes, The Unleashed Creation almost cracked the top 1000 free books on Amazon--the highest I saw was 1053. The Impossible Creation meanwhile cracked the top 20,000 paid books on Amazon yesterday, with a top ranking (that I saw) of 17,403.

And there, I put the data I collected to some sort of use. :p

Now I'm off to collect another round of data for today! (And yes, I am obsessed. Don't worry, next week I'll be back to the "grind" of writing and editing and not data-obsessing.)
