I'm not a patient person. In fact, you may even call me impatient (just ask my parents). But one thing I've learned through this whole writing extravaganza is that I have to be patient. Whether it's building a detailed world that readers can get lost in or editing my book to get it as perfect as possible (without over-editing--perfectionism is another one of my faults), it takes time. More time than I'd like. When it's going slow, I can get frustrated and stressed out, neither of which makes things go any faster.
Today's quote is about how sometimes I need to (as Val would say): c-h-i-double-l, chill. Maybe you sometimes need that advice too. :-)
"When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be"
From "Let It Be" by The Beatles
