Motivation Monday

This week, I'm starting something new...Motivation Monday!

Being a new writer hasn't been easy. I mean, sure it's my "If I had a million dollars" job, which is great. But that doesn't mean it's always easy. It doesn't mean I don't get frustrated. It doesn't mean I don't sometimes wonder if maybe I shouldn't have chosen this path after all.

During times like those, I look at quotes or listen to a song or even sneak a quick peek at a favorite scene from a movie or TV show. Essentially, I've got my own private pool of motivation that I dip into from time to time.

And now I'm going to share it with you! Every Monday, I'll share a new quote that helps motivate me when I'm feeling down and/or discouraged. I hope it will help you too. :)

For this inaugural "Motivation Monday," I'm choosing a quote that has pretty much been my mantra over the past two years.

Sure, it's maybe a little morbid to think about what you want to do before you die, but that's how I got to be where I am today. I asked myself, "If I died tomorrow, is there anything I would regret?" And the answer was not writing a book. So, here I am, doing it.
