All right, today's the day I take another step forward in my journey. Today's the day I actually look at the sample edits I've received for The Impossible Creation. Like the title said, this is terrifying. This is my first time seeking criticism from professionals. What if they say my writing is terrible? What if they say there is no hope for me to ever become a professional author?
But that's silly, I know. Of course they're not going to say there's no hope for me. Their job is to make my writing better such that there is hope! Not that logic makes this any less terrifying. Either way, if this is my dream, if this is what I want, I must be able to take constructive criticism and use it to improve. And so off I go into the unknown, hoping to come out a better writer on the other side.
