Ok, this pick has been coming for a long time. Like a really long time. Like I'm surprised it wasn't the first pick for Women Crush Wednesday (except that I had Game of Thrones on the mind).
This week's choice is my first woman-crush ever: Buffy Summers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV series and a movie...but mostly the TV series).
Oh, where to start, where to start? Buffy is fierce (obvs), but she's also silly and loyal, almost to a fault. She fights for the little guy/gal/person, whether that's sticking up for Willow against the snobby Cordelia or killing vamps. She accepts that people can change and makes friends with former enemies. Throughout the series, she learns to stand on her own two feet and grows up in front of our eyes.

Side note: A while ago, I wrote a blog post about my favorite Buffy episodes by mood. You can check it out here.
