February 2017 Goals

First, here's an update on January's goals:
- Success! I have begun addressing my editor's comments for The Impossible Creation, and, in fact, I'm ahead of schedule. I might be able to finish round 1 and send it back to her by the end of next week. Super happy about this! :D
- This one's not so much a success. I'd wanted to be through Ch. 6 of my line-by-line self-editing process for An Uncertain Death, and I'm only through Ch. 5. :( On the bright side, I really like how it's shaping up, so there's that. It's just too bad that it takes so darn long. That said, I know the beginning requires more work than the end, so hopefully I'll speed up with time.
- And another not-quite-success. However, there was a huge breakthrough late last week. The file for the sneak peek download has been created! Yay! That was the single largest hurdle left (or the rate-limiting step in chemist speak), so I should be able to finish this up shortly. It's just unfortunate that January is ending so soon.
So, as you can see, I'm overachieving on one of my goals and *so* close on the others. Oh well, better luck next time...
Which brings me to my goals for February:
- Complete responses to my editor's comments on The Impossible Creation. Send draft back to her.
- Continue the line-by-line self-editing for An Uncertain Death. Complete for Chapters 6, 7, and 8.
- Launch the sneak peek offer for The Impossible Creation to family and friends.
Keep an eye out for my March update to see how it went and March's goals.
