June 2017 Goals

As usual, we'll start with an update on May's goals:

1. Success! It required some--ok, a good amount of--weekend work, but I delivered the The Impossible Creation to The Certain Cell (my Advance Review team of readers) before May 17th, per my goals. :)
2. Fail. But this is fine. Ok, so that might be an exaggeration, but things are definitely coming down to the wire in terms of getting everything ready for the launch. It turns out I probably bit off more than I can chew for my first book launch--anyone who knows me personally will not be surprised--but I'm 100% sure everything will be ready. It's just a question of how much of the midnight oil I have to burn.
3. Success! I was part of the Memorial Day Fiction Grab Bag giveaway (over now, or I would link it) and found some new readers there. Welcome new readers!

Now I'm going to do something a little differently. Usually, I pick three goals to work on for the month (two writing-related ones and one business-related one), but with the big launch, that's really all I'm focusing on. So, we're going to break it down into pre-launch, launch, and post-launch.

1. Pre-launch (June 1st - 13th): Get everything ready to go for the big day according to the plan.
2. Launch (June 14th - 20th): Ensure the launch goes smoothly.
3. Post-launch (June 21st - 30th): Recover from the launch. Chill. Maybe read something other than my own books. :p
