Recommendations from The Troupe

written by Betsy Flak on 2017-11-09

One thing I'm always looking for is my next really-great, can't-put-it-down-for-even-a-second, oops-I-forgot-to-eat book. And I'm sure that's true of my readers too--after all, that's one thing we share: a love of books and stories.

However, I'm not the fastest reader by any stretch of the imagination, so I can't always get through all the book recommendations I receive (and certainly not in a timely manner). So I periodically gather them all together, then pass them on to you, my readers! After all, you may--ok, probably--read more books than I do.

Without further ado, here are ten books Troupe members have recommended to me over the past few months:

Confessions by Kanae Minato: Hey I read this one! And I fr-reaking loved it. I read it in three days, which is practically a record for me. :)

Wisteria Witches (Wisteria Witches Mysteries Book 1) by Angela Pepper: next on my list to read, provided I don't get distracted by some other can't-miss book or series.

Beneath a Blood Red Moon (Alliance Vampires Book 1) by Heather Graham

Manannan's Magic (Manannan Trilogy Book 1) by Michele McGrath

To My Senses: The Nicci Beauvoir Series (#1) by Alexandrea Weis

The Fall of Sky (Part One) by Alexia Purdy: Technically, Part Two (of four) was recommended, but I thought I'd start you off with Part One. Note: You can get the full four parts here.

Beckoning Light (The Afterglow Trilogy Book 1) by Alyssa Rose Ivy

Severed (Starwalkers Serials Book 1) by Lizzy Ford and Julia Crane

The Story of Awkward (The Embrace Yourself Series Book 1) by R.K. Ryals

Angelfall (Pentryn & The End of Days Series Book 1) by Susan Ee: I'm reading this trilogy now, and I can't put it down. We're talking "lying in bed reading and reading and reading until I have to force myself to go to sleep". And then I can't because I'm too into the book (and I'm usually the type who makes it about two pages in before falling asleep). Disclaimer: I'm not sure how I found this book, but I don't think it was technically a recommendation from a Troupe member. But I'm recommending it, so I say it counts!
